Sandy the Saint
|2/1/13: Sandy crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. She was 10 to 11 years old. She was much loved in her final forever home. Thank you Marvin and Ruth for giving her over 3 wonderful years.|
|update from her new family: 12/05/09: She is doing good. She goes to the groomer sat. We are going to put the x-large dog door in so she can go in and out when she wants. Ruth|
Sandy has been adopted by a couple not very far away. She will be
able to come for visits. Thanks Marvin and Ruth. I know
Sandy will be very happy.
10/31/09: Sandy has made herself completely at home. Where ever we are is where she likes to be, but during the day, if the other dogs go to check something out, she runs right out the door with them. She sleeps quietly beside the bed all night. Never wakes me up, (she lets the Pyrs handle night patrol). She does snore on occasion and 'talks' in her sleep :-). She is not a pest but does like her share of attention. She is house broken. Never an accident. Good with people/kids/other animals. She ignores the cat.
She deserves a clean, comfortable place where she can just lay back and enjoy the companionship of people who will love her for the rest of her life. She is still active and loves her half mile walks twice a day. She would probably be happy with a longer walk, but content with less also. Being with her people is her top priority. She rides great in the back seat of the car or will go in a crate if need be.
She is 7 years old, full blood St. Bernard (no papers). She is small for a Saint but is still 100 pounds and 28 or 29"at the shoulder. She is a dry mouth. Yeah!! She is spayed and vet checked healthy, HW negative.
